ROGER TILLEY: bio

Roger Tilley was born in Birmingham, England, in 1957.
He attended Dudley Grammar School where he began to study the
organ under the direction of Timothy Lees. Since 1974 Roger has held posts as organist at several churches in England and Greece.
He is currently the organist of St Andrew's
American Church, Athens, a post which he has held since 1983.
From 1985 to 1990 he directed the Athens Singers. He has also performed on the third radio programme of Greece (ERT)
as well as teaching music at the American College of Greece.
He is a graduate in geography and geology of the University of Bristol.
His primary occupation is as a teacher of geography at Campion School, Athens, so music is his very serious hobby!
